Veit is currently working on a challenging dredging project on Superior Bay in Duluth, Minnesota. For the first time ever, Veit is using 3D software visualization with a clamshell bucket in order to get a real-time viewing of the dredged surface under water as the work is being done. Veit’s demolition of the Star Tribune building in downtown Minneapolis is officially underway. A public park will be built on a portion of the site where the nearly 100-year-old Star Tribune building produced newspapers. The park is part of the Downtown East mixed-use development.
