Micropiles

Veit’s micropiles (also known as minipiles, pin piles, needle piles, radici and root piles) are high-performance, high-capacity deep foundation elements comprised of high-strength cement grout, high-strength steel casing, steel center bar, or injection bored bars. Diameters range from 3 to 12 inches. Micropile applications are used for providing structural support, underpinning, to enhance mass stability, and to transfer loads.

Micropile features include:

• Small to large diameter
• High capacities
• Low headroom
• Limited access
• Injection bored
• Cased
• Augered

• Down-the-hole-hammer (DTH)
• Testing
• Solid bar anchors
• Strand anchors
• Low vibration and noise
• Engineered design
