Veit & Company is currently seeking an Earthwork Superintendent to manage Veit earthwork projects in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. Knowledge and proven application of all phases of commercial earthwork services is required to meet Veit's scope of services including: mass grading and excavation, soil correction, overburden stripping, storm water retention, subgrade preparation, road and parking lot construction, retaining walls and site remediation. Applicants should possess excellent leadership skills and strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees, management and outside parties such as owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers. Applicants must have a proven successful project history (quality, schedule, safety, cost management), be flexible, well-organized, detail oriented and be able to multi-task. Must have experience overseeing subcontractor work to meet all timely and quality expectations of the job. A minimum of five years experience overseeing commercial, multiphase earthwork projects is required. Additional exposure to commercial demolition and utilities is a plus. Please apply online.
